The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts was established at Sakarya University in 2016 and started its educational activities with 40 students in the 2018-2019 Academic Year at the Faculty of Tourism, which was incorporated into Sakarya Applied Sciences University in 2018. As of 2019, the department continues its education and training activities with 3 professors, 2 associate professors and 4 research assistants.
